Ricardo works with the PSA on a contract basis. He has experience in outreach and technical assistance approaches, transference of technology, food safety, value chain development, and marketing for sustainable business expansion in many countries in South America, Central America, and the Caribbean, as well as in the United States. Ricardo has developed training material and delivered educational programming for farmers, released extension articles, and established strategies for vegetable production, post-harvest practices, and marketing connections.
Education
Ricardo holds a B.S in Agriculture from Zamorano University, Honduras, and his Ph.D. in Plant & Soil Sciences from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
