I lead a research and extension program focusing the biology and ecology of insects in tree fruit agroecosystems. My laboratory’s research program focuses broadly on insect pest management including pesticide science, the development of sustainable insect management techniques using biological control and new technologies, and the biology of insect vectors of plant pathogens. My extension program is centered on communicating information to enhance the profitability and resilience of New York state apple production.
