Karolyn is originally from Massachusetts. In 2022, she transferred to Cornell to pursue a B.S. in Animal Science. During her time at Cornell, Karolyn began working for the Nutrient Management Spear Program (NMSP) Dairy Sustainability Team, completing nutrient mass balances and greenhouse gas footprints. As biodiversity metrics became more relevant in New York Dairy, she took on the biodiversity indicators project. She is now a full-time Dairy Sustainability research aide.
