Jaron Porciello

Jaron Porciello is Director of Innovation and Engagement for Cornell CALS, where she brings people and ideas together to help move research beyond the university and into the world. She works across faculty, students, businesses, governments, and other partners to build collaborations, support entrepreneurship, and create new opportunities for CALS.

 

Jaron is a data scientist and startup co-founder who has spent much of her career working at the intersection of research, technology, and collaboration. Her work has taken her across higher education, the private sector, government, philanthropy, and nonprofits. She enjoys bringing people with different perspectives to the same table to ask: what does it take to create the conditions for transformative scientific breakthroughs, and are we investing in the partnerships and programs that can help us get there?
