About

Elisabeth is an extension associate and regional vegetable, small fruit and food safety specialist with the Eastern New York Commercial Horticulture Program serving commercial growers in 17 counties in Eastern NY, with an emphasis on the Champlain Valley and Adirondack region. She also collaborates regularly on research projects with the Cornell Willsboro research station in Essex County, NY and serves as a lead trainer for the Produce Safety Alliance courses and conducts on-farm food safety readiness reviews. Prior to joining CCE in 2019, Elisabeth gained experience in crop production through working on her family’s farm and on other commercial and university research farms.
