Keep up with campus sustainability by consulting Cornell’s new online Sustainable Campus and Community Map.

In just a click you’ll find reusable bottle water filling stations, bike share and car share locations, environmentally friendly trails, electric car charging stations, campus sustainability centers and institutes, and reuse centers.

“The digital medium captures everyone’s attention,” said Jeremy Wegener ’19, who spent his summer internship with Infrastructure, Properties and Planning’s Sustainability Office working to assemble the map, thanks to an Engaged Opportunity Grant.

Sarah Brylinsky, sustainability communications manager, coordinated the project. “The sustainability map helps make the invisible visible, giving the community access to discover campus resources,” she said. “Now you can see where solar panels produce energy above you, and comprehend the scope of alternative transportation resources beyond your bus stop or bike rack. The map helps you access the scope of your campus sustainability in a brand-new way.”
