Gurpeet is a Ph.D. student in Animal Science with the Nutrient Management Spear Program (NMSP) led by Quirine Ketterings. She came to the US in the fall of 2022. She is originally from a village in Punjab, India, where she grew up observing farms and dairy animals. Her family’s love of gardening inspired her to pursue an education in agriculture.
