Dairy farmers, veterinarians, veterinary scientists and others with a stake in dairy will come together in an office hour webinar at noon, January 15 to share their experiences and ideas about using antibiotics in smart, data-based ways on dairy farms. People talk a lot about using antibiotics carefully to make sure they keep working well. But that doesn’t always line up with the real-life challenges dairy farmers deal with every day. This webinar will look at smart ways to use antibiotics to keep animals healthy, help farms succeed and make sure antibiotics stay effective for the future. Hear real-life examples and learn about practical decisions farmers make, like when to treat cows for mastitis, metritis and youngstock respiratory disease. After the presentations, the speakers will take part in a live Q&A session.
