The American Indian and Indigenous Studies Program is pleased to invite you to a special Indigenous Convocation address on Wednesday August 21st. This year’s keynote address for Indigenous Convocation will be given by Deskaheh, Chief Steve Jacobs, Gayogohó:nǫˀ, from Oshweken at Grand River. U.S. Representative Sharice Davids, Ho-Chunk, law school alumni—one of the first two Native women elected to serve in Congress will share a brief welcome message.

The Indigenous Convocation is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21 at the Toni Morrison Hall MPR-A and will be followed by a luncheon reception. PLEASE RSVP HERE.
