Global Climate Change (GCC) Curriculum Development for Early Childhood

The project aims to leverage our lab's research program with COE on children's understanding and emotional reactions to GCC and collaborate with COE Early Childhood Educators on curriculum development. Plan a study with Utica School District and Oneida COE on how immigrant children and families respond to GCC and its impacts.
Roles and responsibilities
The student will translate research findings and develop curriculum with early childhood educators at COE. The program will be piloted to K-4 graders in Oneida County. The successful intern will plan a study with Utica School District and Oneida COE on how immigrant children and families respond to the impacts of GCC on their well-being. Students would be expected to continue for credit during Fall and Spring to collect and code data from interviews conducted by zoom.
Qualifications and previous coursework
This opportunity is available to students in Cornell University's College of Human Ecology.
