Join the CALS Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in our second workshop as a part of the Gender Inclusive Leadership Series, focused on cover letters.

What you will learn:

In this workshop, you will learn why and when to include a cover letter when applying for a job or internship. Moreover, we plan to do hands-on skill-building for tailoring a cover letter for a specific job. We will also practice highlighting the impact of personal experiences and identities on your skillset and passion. By connecting the job description to your skillset and focusing on your strengths, participants will walk away with a set of guidelines for forming a strong cover letter. If you have a cover letter draft and job/internship description, you can bring it to work on. If you don’t, during the workshop, we will help you build an outline that can be tailored for applications in the future.

Sponsored by the President's Council of Cornell Women and hosted by the CALS Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
