Ananda Fontoura is originally from Belem, Brazil. She holds a DVM degree from the Universidade Federal do Pará, Brazil, a MS degree in Ruminant Nutrition from the North Dakota State University, and a PhD in Animal Science from Cornell University. Ananda is currently a Postdoctoral Associate at the Department of Animal Science at Cornell University working under the supervision of Dr. Mike Van Amburgh.
