Yasmin Alameddine is a Chief of Staff and leads operations for Machine Learning Platform Technologies at Apple, where she has worked in AI strategy and communications roles for the past five years. Previously she was a data and analytics partner manager at IBM and content manager at Shopify.
Yasmin graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University. There she majored in Communication with a focus in media. She also holds a Master of Science from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism where she focused on computational data. There, she received honors on her master’s thesis on how bias affects AI. Yasmin is a Senior Fellow at Yale University where she focuses on AI governance and ethics at their Digital Ethics Center.
Since 2016, Yasmin has hosted her podcast, Witty, about women making an impact on the tech industry. The podcast has been named #1 Women & Tech podcast, Top 100 Tech podcasts, and Top 25 Canadian Tech podcasts.
