Rosie Nguyen

Rosie Nguyen is a doctoral student in the Department of Communication at Cornell University. Her research interests include cultural production, creative industries, digital culture, and digital violence against cultural workers. Currently, she is examining the impact of online shaming on self-censorship among creative workers.
Prior to joining Cornell, Rosie completed a master's research degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, funded by the Fulbright scholarship. She has over ten years of experience in various industries across Asia, including supply chain management, journalism, and publishing. She is also an accomplished author, having published six books in Vietnamese, one of which was the No.1 best seller in Vietnam from 2017 to 2018.
