I received my M.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from Tezpur University and my B.Sc. in Zoology (with side quests in Botany and Chemistry). My research combines multi-omics, genetics, and developmental biology to understand shoot apical meristem development and leaf patterning in grasses, particularly in maize and Brachypodium. Outside the lab, I enjoy cooking Indian food, playing football (the real “foot” kind), and finding ways to survive Ithaca winters.
