Thirupathi Azmeera

I work in Joseph W. McFadden's research group. My work focuses on methane inhibition discovery and choline metabolites analysis with a robust background in analytical chemistry. I seek to discover novel inhibitors to reduce methane emissions, a potent greenhouse gas, addressing a critical aspect of climate change mitigation. I aim to develop sustainable solutions for methane reduction in dairy industries.

I specialize in the detailed analysis of choline metabolites using Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). My expertise encompasses the qualitative and quantitative analysis of choline and its metabolites in plasma, urine and liver tissue samples.
