I was born in Hangzhou, China. I got my bachelor's degree from Huazhong Agricultural University and my master's degree from Columbia University. I joined Helmann lab this fall, focusing on the membrane protein and its role in modifying antibiotic resistance in Bacillus Subtilis. After my PhD, I plan to work as an R&D scientist in industry, applying biomedical products to help more people worldwide. I like watching movies, listening to K-pop music, traveling, and cooking good meals during my spare time. Eating delicious food always makes me happy and gives me a break from the stress in my life. Besides, I am particularly interested in astronomical observation and love to look up at the stars at night.
