Ruier is an incoming PhD student in the Soil and Crop Sciences Section at Cornell University's School of Integrative Plant Science, joining Dr. Bosen Jin's lab in Fall 2026 as a University Fellow to study PFAS contamination in agriculture. She holds a Master of Engineering degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell and a Bachelor's in Water and Wastewater Engineering from Southeast University in Nanjing, China.
