Rocky Kambo is the Associate Dean of Finance and Administration for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS). As the college's senior business officer, he collaborates closely with the Dean and CALS leadership to advance long-range, sustainable financial planning and to provide strategic oversight of the college's financial resources, human resources, facilities, equipment, and administrative computing services.
Kambo brings nearly 20 years of experience in strategic planning, management, and organizational operations in higher education and municipal government. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. After earning his Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Queen’s University (Canada), he served as Director of Planning and Community Development for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Schuyler County. He later held the role of Director of Development for the City of Powell, Ohio, before returning to Cornell University as Director of Operations and Business for the Animal Health Diagnostic Center and the Department of Population Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences within the College of Veterinary Medicine.
