Area of expertise is mouse molecular genetics with a focus on mechanisms controlling placement of epigenetic modifications including DNA and histone methylation in the mouse genome. Additional areas of research include studies in nutritional genomics, specifically, identification of regions of the genome controlling if and how diet affects colorectal cancer.
