I got my undergraduate Major in Biology and Minor in Entomology from Oregon State University. I received my master's in Ecology: Biology at Utah State University in collaboration with the USDA ARS Logan Bee Lab after researching the management potential of mason bees for berry pollination. I am broadly passionate about agricultural and pollinator Extension, native bees as agricultural service providers, and IPPM (Integrated pest AND pollinator management). I am now a technician in Poveda Lab, digging my teeth into field crop IPPM to gain a broader understanding of the pest-pollinator landscape farmers' experience in NY.
