Michele is a seasoned HR professional who plays a crucial role in supporting the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) as the Assistant Director of Human Resources. With nearly two decades of experience in various HR roles within CALS, Michele has built a strong foundation to help meet the college’s needs.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in management and economics from SUNY Empire State College in 2016. Additionally, Michele holds both the Professional Human Resources Certification and the SHRM-CP certification. She is also actively involved with the local SHRM chapter in Tompkins County, serving as a dedicated Board Member.
Outside of work, Michele enjoys life on Owasco Lake with her husband, Kevin, and their three grown children, Matthew, Tyler, and Jacob. Her family also includes three grandchildren: Declan, Harrison, and Lenna. Michele’s passion for outdoor activities is evident in her love for walking, hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, jet skiing, and cross-country skiing — basically, anything that lets her enjoy the outdoors!
