About

Grand challenge: My grand challenge is to develop predictive, cost-effective systems to prevent the introduction, establishment, and spread of invasive species before ecological damage occurs.

Coming from a diverse background, I have taken a major career shift from business to engineering to now natural resource management. I have a particular interest in invasive species management and ecosystem restoration. While all living things are cool, I have a particular love for plants.

When I’m not defending native flora and fauna, you can usually find me chasing waves on a surfboard, or getting lost in a book.
