Kion brings more than a decade of experience supporting people, operations, and organizational effectiveness across complex and mission driven environments. Before joining Cornell CALS, she served in leadership roles with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Washington, D.C., and across Central America and East Africa, where she supported a wide range of human resources, onboarding, employee support, and operational functions in fast paced international settings. Earlier in her career, she also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Uganda, an experience that deepened her appreciation for service, adaptability, and cross cultural connection.
She holds graduate training in human resources management and business continuity, with an academic background in psychology and human relations. Kion enjoys building strong working relationships, helping people navigate challenges, and contributing to workplaces where people feel supported and valued.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, wellness and psychology, spending time with family and friends, and staying connected to international and multicultural communities.
