Katie conducts applied, place-based research to examine pressing socio-ecological issues. Her current research projects focus on large-scale renewable energy siting processes, co-location of solar and agriculture, public perceptions of invasive species control, and private landowner interest in sustainable forestry practices in the Northeast, U.S.
