Kaitlyn comes to Ag Workforce Development with a passion for developing organizational culture and helping farms find creative solutions to simplify workflow and increase engagement for increased efficiency and satisfaction. Working for over a decade as a dairy veterinarian in various regions of the US and internationally, she realizes that successful farms depend on successful teams. After leaving clinical practice, Kaitlyn worked as a bilingual dairy specialist for Cornell Cooperative Extension in Northwest NY, where she focused on hands-on education with farm employees.
Her work now focuses on the practical implementation of research-based methods to assist farms in developing their organization, just as you would develop the employees within it, using tools like measuring employee engagement, lean management and leadership training. Kaitlyn received her BS in Animal Science from the University of Delaware and her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners.
