I am part of the Ruminant Farm Systems (RuFaS) project, a whole-farm model that simulates dairy production to optimize performance and improve sustainability. I contribute to several aspects of RuFaS, including the ration formulation process, animal management algorithms, and the design and implementation of sensitivity analyses for the entirety of the model.
I also act in a techno functional role as both software developer and animal scientist, and as translator between both sets of workers on the project.
