John David, M.S., serves as an Extension Support Specialist with Cornell Dairy Foods Extension and Program Manager for Applied AI in Food Safety. His work focuses on advancing the practical application of artificial intelligence in food safety and supporting industry efforts to design and implement environmental monitoring programs that strengthen food safety and quality. He brings a multidisciplinary background across scientific, technical, and operational domains, with an emphasis on translating emerging methods and technologies into practical value for the food industry.
With more than 20 years of experience in science-driven organizations, John has held global leadership roles in technical services, product marketing and commercialization, and thought leadership. He earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences and an M.S. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Delaware.
