J’Frances White brings a dynamic blend of experience, enthusiasm, and dedication to her role as Human Resources Assistant V / HR Representative. Before joining Cornell University in 2018, J’Frances served as a Human Resources Coordinator at the Economic Opportunity Program (EOP) Inc. in Elmira, NY. She began her journey at Cornell as an Administrative Assistant at the SC Johnson Graduate School of Management, supporting the Executive Director of Admissions and Financial Aid.
A proud graduate of Elmira College, J’Frances holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She plays a vital role in HR operations, with core responsibilities that include recruitment, UAW support, employee engagement, and active participation on the Talent Collaboration Committee and the Cornell Care Fund team.
Outside of work, J’Frances is known for her passion for cooking and baking, her commitment to running, and her unwavering support of the Philadelphia Eagles—Go Birds! Born and raised in Michigan, she’s also a loyal Michigan Wolverines fan—Go Blue! As a proud boy mom and marathon finisher (2024), she brings the same energy and perseverance to her personal life that she brings to her professional one. Fun fact: J’Frances won a full scholarship to culinary school right after high school—proof that she brings flavor to everything she does.
