Jesse Kerns

Jesse is an extension associate with the newly established New York Center for Organics Recycling and Education (NYCORE) at Cornell University. NYCORE will continue and expand the work of the Cornell Waste Management Institute by delivering research-based knowledge, training, and technical support on organics residual management to farming communities across NYS. He is also the current Chair of NYSAR3's statewide Organics Council and a co-coordinator of the annual NYS Organics Summit. Prior to joining NYCORE, Jesse was an Assistant Director with the Institute for Sustainability Engagement (ISE) at Syracuse University where he assisted stakeholders across NYS with adopting sustainable organics management practices.
