On a broad scale, I am passionate about understanding how disturbances, both natural and anthropogenic, impact ecosystem health and stability. More specifically, my research uses environmental DNA to observe post-disturbance changes in aquatic ecosystems. I am especially interested in communicating results and information to policy makers and community members to promote informed decision making at all levels.
