By training I am an evolutionary ecologist who has done a bit of research on applications of theoretical and quantitative methods to the management and conservation of natural resources. These days, I mostly teach, which I find more rewarding than most other things. My goals are simple: to make the complex accessible, and to be the teacher you wish your kids get when they go to college.
