David’s work with Cornell IPM focuses on evaluating the adoption, outcomes, and impacts of integrated pest management programs across New York State and the Northeast. His training in environmental science, adult education and social science research—including a background in Spanish and ESL instruction—supports the use of qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods to document IPM impacts, inform program improvement and support accountability to stakeholders and funders. David also conducts applied research on IPM adoption, climate risk and adaptation in agriculture and the economic and social dimensions of pest management, helping strengthen evidence‑based decision making within extension and IPM programs.
