Brian Wendel received his PhD from Portland State University in Molecular Biology in 2018. He joined the Microbiology Department in 2018 as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Helmann Lab.
Brian is the Lead Instructor for BioMi 2911 General Microbiology Laboratory. He teaches the fundamental principles and techniques of laboratory practice in microbiology and helps guide the overall instructional delivery of the course. Brian also teaches BioMi 2900 General Microbiology Lecture during the summer online term.
