Born and raised on a dairy farm in Upstate, New York, Amy developed a love for animals and plants. She has worked in many aspects of the horticulture industry, including: vocational education; Cooperative Extension; retail nursery and garden center sales; and landscape design and maintenance. She now hopes to earn an MPS in Public Garden Leadership as the next step to becoming a department director at a public green space like an arboretum. Amy enjoys hiking, hot-air ballooning, plein air painting, and all types of dancing.
