I’m originally from the UK, but recently moved to Ithaca. I grew up in the North of England in the rural Lake District national park area, but after having lived exclusively in cities during my adult life I’ve enjoyed reconnecting with nature here in Ithaca. I studied French, Spanish and politics at the University of Bath, which allowed me to live in France and Argentina for brief stints while I was studying. I love language learning, and am currently working on my Italian.
After University, I moved to Cambridge to train to teach, and have worked for the past five years as a French and Spanish teacher in UK secondary schools, while also branching out into outdoor education program management over the last two years. Outside of work, I love exercise classes, playing ’soccer’ (football!!), and running - in fact, I ran my first marathon this year!
