Associate Professor, Biological and Environmental Engineering
Lindsay Anderson is an Associate Professor in Biological and Environmental Engineering and the Norman R. Scott Sesquicentennial Faculty Fellow, as well as the Kathy Dwyer Marble and Curt Marble Faculty Director for Energy with the Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future. Professor Anderson's overarching goal is to accelerate the transition to a low carbon energy future. She is particularly interested in the effective integration of wind and solar resources, through the leveraging of distributed and demand side resources. Anderson' s approach to this problem is through improvement of operational strategies to include supply and demand side resources in frameworks for optimization under uncertainty.
