Joanna Alario
Graduate Field Coordinator, Department of Communication

Joanna (she/her/hers) joined the Department of Communication in August 2012 after working with graduate students in the Architecture Department for several years. Previously, she worked at Cornell’s South Asia Program and the College of Human Ecology, as well as the American Museum of Natural History and the WTC Tribute Center in New York City. Joanna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the State University of New York at Cortland and a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from New York University. She enjoys fiber arts, baking lots of bread, and hanging out with her new baby, Bernie.
