Jasdeep Singh
Postdoctoral Associate, Nutrient Management Spear Program, Animal Science

I am in the Nutrient Management Spear Program (NMSP) of Dr. Quirine Ketterings' lab.
I am a soil scientist with research centering on crop nutrient management and the physical, chemical and biological processes that underpin soil health. I also investigate how regenerative agricultural practices (e.g., reduced tillage systems, cover cropping manure-based products) affect greenhouse gas emissions and the desirable agronomic and environmental outcomes. I emphasize a system approach to data collection and analysis with extensive experience in field and lab experiments and predictive simulation modelling.
