While development seems continually to be in a state of crisis, now that state is heightened. Reshuffling of global powers, climate and biodiversity crises, and technological and military crisis are upending development institutions. Moments of crisis are moments of renewal.
For 25 years, the Polson Institute for Global Development has supported critical and innovative work by researchers and practitioners to address challenges in development. In this conference we will build on this legacy by bringing development practitioners, activists, policymakers, and researchers together to ask how development will be renewed.
Through three days of active conversation, we will set a new vision for development through conversations grounded in practical engagement and critical analysis.
