Join us at the Film Forum at the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts for a special evening with Günther Vogt, Founding Director of Vogt, as he presents a lecture titled "Water."
We are honored to welcome Zaš Brezar, editor-in-chief of Landezine, who will present the prestigious LILA Award to Günther Vogt in recognition of his unique and enduring contribution to contemporary landscape architecture. Since founding his practice 25 years ago—following his departure from Kienast Vogt after the passing of his mentor, Dieter Kienast—Vogt has continually forged a path that transcends disciplinary boundaries and defies conventional categorization.
Following the award presentation, Vogt will deliver his lecture exploring the role of water as both a material and a medium in the design of landscapes. His reflections will consider how water shapes space, experience, and ecological understanding in the built environment.
The evening will conclude with a panel discussion featuring Günther Vogt, Zaš Brezar, and Associate Professor Martin Hogue.
