Getting Here

The conference will be held at the Wahiawā Value-Added Product Development Center (WVAPDC) in Wahiawā, located in Central Oʻahu. Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) is approximately 20–30 miles away, with a typical drive of 30–45 minutes depending on traffic. Ride-share services (Uber/Lyft), taxis, rental cars, and public transit are available from the airport.

Transportation

Rental Car (Recommended)

  • Because Wahiawā is located away from the main tourist districts, renting a car is recommended for the most convenient travel during your stay.

  • Provides flexibility and reliability, as public transportation options are limited

  • Complimentary parking is available onsite at the Wahiawā Value-Added Product Development Center.

Ride Share / Taxi

  • For those without a vehicle, Uber, Lyft, taxis, and TheBus provide transportation to and from Wahiawā, although travel times may be longer than driving and may be less reliable in Wahiawā

  • Costs can add up for daily commuting

There are limited lodging options in Central Oʻahu. We recommend staying in one of the following areas:

  • Honolulu / Airport Area (25–35 minutes) – Convenient for early arrivals and departures, with a wide selection of hotels and easy access to HNL.

  • Waikīkī (35–45 minutes) – Offers the largest selection of accommodations, restaurants, and visitor amenities. Ideal for attendees wishing to explore Oʻahu before or after the conference.

  • Kapolei (20–30 minutes) – A convenient alternative with several newer hotels, complimentary parking at many properties, and a shorter commute to the venue than Waikīkī.

  • Suggested Hotels:

    • AC Hotel (Honolulu)

    • Ala Moana Hotel (Honolulu)

    • Hampton Inn & Suites (Kapolei)
