You are invited to join United States Secretary of Agriculture Thomas J. Vilsack for a conversation on how the USDA and partners in government, private and academic sectors can help bring prosperity to rural America by building more, new, and better markets and income opportunities for producers and entrepreneurs; investing in infrastructure and create good jobs; establishing more options for consumers to buy healthy, locally produced products as well as strengthening local and regional supply chains in the state. Secretary Vilsack will also highlight USDA’s commitment to cutting-edge research at a leading land-grant institution like Cornell University that is helping make American farmers more productive, profitable, and resilient as well as leveraging agriculture to provide innovative ways to combat climate change. During the meeting, Secretary Vilsack will emphasize President Biden’s Investing in America agenda and Bidenomics strategy to rebuild our economy from the middle-out and the bottom-up.
