CALS Innovation Day 2024

Life-Changing Innovation.

Hosted by the CALS Research and Innovation Office (RIO), this inaugural event celebrates the extraordinary science, creativity, ingenuity and groundbreaking ideas shaping the future of agriculture and life sciences that are flourishing at CALS. Intended to be an annual CALS event, this effort is in support of the CALS Roadmap to 2050 strategic objective to transcend conventional boundaries with college-wide, transdisciplinary research and innovation activities.

What to Expect:

• Insightful Keynotes: Hear from leading innovators and experts who are revolutionizing industries with cutting-edge technologies.
• Inspiring Innovations: Explore how members of our CALS community leverage sponsored research and technology transfer to drive their very own start-ups! 
• Interactive Demonstrations: Participate in hands-on sessions to receive an update on the Moonshot Seed Grant Program and discover the transformative impact of Digital Agriculture (DA). From predictive to generative AI, robotics, advanced sensing and smart sensor network systems, to automated disease detection and crop planning, learn more about how DA is driving innovation and sustainability in farming. 
• Networking Opportunities: Connect with farmers, researchers, agribusiness professionals and other like-minded individuals to exchange ideas and foster new collaborations.
