Professional Master's Degrees

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) offers course-based professional master’s degree programs designed to enhance careers in industry, government and nonprofit agencies. The flexible, interdisciplinary master’s degree programs offer customized coursework and experiential projects to advance technical knowledge, preparing graduates to move directly into the workforce upon graduation and be ready to take on challenging roles in their fields of interest.

Master of Professional Studies

Ideal for career-focused students interested in the thorough study of issues and advancements in the fields of life, social, and environmental sciences and agriculture.

Master of Engineering in Biological & Environmental Engineering

The Master of Engineering (MEng) in Biological and Environmental Engineering program is a 30-credit, applied professional master’s degree that provides technical and practical skills focused on the principles of life sciences and engineering.

We provide comprehensive student and career services support and resources. Throughout the academic year we hold events, workshops, alumni panels and a professional skills course to enhance each student’s Cornell CALS experience.
