CALS ODEI Gender Inclusive Series: Workshop on Applying to Graduate School

Join the CALS Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in our first workshop as a part of the Gender Inclusive Leadership Series, focused on graduate school applications.

What you will learn:
In this workshop, we hope to give prospective graduate students an overview of the application process and useful tips to use when applying to graduate school. We will discuss prevalent gender biases in the admissions process and discuss ways to combat them in your own application.

Through insight from Assistant Professor Tory A. Hendry (she/her) and stories from CALS graduate students, we hope to equip students with the necessary tools for the best possible graduate school applications. Useful tools and resources will be provided to participants in a resource packet after the event. The workshop will be from 4-5 pm and will be followed by a catered dinner from a locally-owned restaurant and socializing from 5-6 pm.
