Senior Extension Associate, NYS Integrated Pest Management
Brian’s current work with NYS IPM emphasizes the detection and management of invasive pests to protect New York’s agricultural, landscaped and natural environments. His leadership on the invasive spotted lanternfly in NYS has brought national recognition to the IPM program. With a background in plant diagnostics, his work centers on insect and plant disease identification and management. Brian also delivers extension programing and conducts applied research where he works to bring sustainable pest management innovations to NY Agriculture producers and residents.
