Graduate Student (she/her) (Sosnoskie Lab), School of Integrative Plant Science, Horticulture Section
I am an MS/PhD student in Lynn Sosnoskie's lab studying weed ecology and management in vegetable production systems. Originally from northeastern New Jersey (for you New Jerseyites – Exit 144), I attended Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences where I received a B.S. in Agricultural Sciences and minored in Horticulture.
My research examines the impact of alternative and integrated weed management strategies on weed communities and the greater agroecological landscape. Currently, I am working on a project that explores the impact that electric weeding has on weed and soil microbial communities in production systems.
Through my work, I hope to use weed ecology to improve the sustainability of vegetable production and expand the control options available to growers.
