Adam Hughes
State Extension Specialist, Cornell Cooperative Extension
Adam Hughes supports Associations primarily in the Finger Lakes and Hudson Valley regions as a state extension specialist. The CCE state extension specialists team provides leadership and expertise that enables county CCE associations and their programs to work effectively with a broad range of system and local program, administrative, governance, management, and organizational opportunities. They serve as the primary point of contact for Executive Directors and Association Board of Directors by providing guidance, coaching, and training. The SES team also leads, facilitates, and supports statewide initiatives that further Cornell Cooperative Extension’s mission and strategic plan.
Adam also serves as the Co-Associate Director of Community Engagement and Advocacy with the Cornell Center for Health Equity and as the CCE liaison to the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP) Heath and Well-Being workgroup.
