The NYS Cheese Mfrs' Annual Spring Conference is a great opportunity to keep pace with changes in the cheese industry with presentations by leading dairy industry experts, research reports from Cornell University, as well as regulatory updates. Northeast Dairy Convention
September 25-27, 2024

The combined Northeast Dairy Convention (NDFA, NDSA, PAMD and NYSCMA) will be held at the Holiday Inn in Saratoga Springs, NY. We have planned an agenda full of business sessions, networking opportunities, and casual activities. Speakers for our business sessions are still being finalized but you can look forward to our speakers presenting priority industry topics. More details to come!


Dairy Runway

Up to 12 teams will be selected into each Dairy Runway cohort to participate in a virtual course that is approximately six weeks long and combines self-directed online learning activities with Zoom-based class meetings and one-on-one instructor check-ins.

Teams that attend and participate fully in every virtual course session will be offered fully-funded access to Cornell’s Prototyping Kitchen, support from Cornell Food Science technical experts, and guidance from a select group of Entrepreneurs in Residence, in order to bring their innovative ideas to the prototype stage after coursework concludes.

Northeastern Dairy Product Innovation Competition  

The Northeastern Dairy Product Innovation Competition is open to innovators working to develop new value-added products using milk and/or dairy ingredients produced in the Northeast.

In this competition, up to 10 innovators will be selected as finalists and receive $20,000 in participant support, as well as business incubation services including product prototyping and optimization, food safety and compliance training, and help developing a business plan for bringing products to market. Of these 10 finalists, up to three will be selected to receive an additional $55,000 and have the chance to present at the 2023 Dairy Innovation Showcase as part of the Grow-NY Summit.

The competition is open to startups located in the United States that are pre-formation or early-stage, have a viable product and scalable business model, and are ready to commit to scaling their products if they are selected as finalists, utilizing milk and/or dairy ingredients produced at dairies in the Northeast.
